I am a Geographic Information Systems Specialist and an instructor in the biology department. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Hood College, and in 2013 earned my master’s degree in Geospatial and Mapping Science from the University of Glasgow in the UK.
Research and Teaching Interests
I have expertise in geographic information systems and hydrographic and land surveying. My research interests include from digital conservation of historic sites using terrestrial laser scanning and using GIS to aid in environmental work. I enjoy teaching GIS that focuses on the wide array applications in many fields of study and the opportunity to teach in the field.
